The content of this course is both artistic and technical. Supported by lectures and tutorials on the the history of Art & Technology, I encourage students to create semester-long projects that they address through multiple iterations. With a particular emphasis on contemporary approaches to narrative, via gaming and other forms of interactivity, I wish to help them develop not only an individual work, but discover and understand their own process.
For this project, the students start with HTML & CSS, and then later expand those initial works with JavaScript, P5js and other libraries, as well as continuing to work on and refine their own imagery.
